Sharks -1.5 for 2 units at +210. Sharks have something to play for, Oilers do not. Oilers only score on 15% of their power play opportunities. Sharks defense has been good lately. Evander Kane has looked great for the Sharks and has fit in well. San Jose has won the last two meetings by two, and the Oilers had more to play for in those games. Best of luck.

Syracuse +2 for 2 units. Arizona State is 1-5 against the spread in their last 6 games. Those games were not against great competition either. Syracuse is 4-1 against the spread in their last 5 tournament games. The zone can give teams some problems. I think Tyus Battle can go off for the Cuse in this game like he has a few times this year (see overtime game vs FSU). I do not know if either of these teams deserve to be in the tournament as both have been playing poorly of late. I’ll take the team with the better coach and the best player on the court. Lightning -1.5 for 3 units at -115. Senators fade. My prediction is that the Lightning win by 3. Tampa Bay has not lost at home in a while averaging 5 goals a game over their last 5. Great home team versus a terrible road team, not going to overthink this one. Lightning are also the best team against the spread in the NHL this year.
Jets ML for 2 units at +160. Patrik Laine will be the best player on the ice if he continues the tear he has been on this season. Second in goals only to Alex Ovechkin. Jets have a top 5 power play offense and top 5 penalty kill defense. I know they are on a long road trip and zero days of rest, but this value is too good to pass up in my opinion. The Jets may try out some new defensive pairings tonight, but that does not worry me. Want a useless stat? Laine has more goals as a teenager than Gretzky. My pick is the Jets. Also, the public is on the predators which makes me like this play even more.

NCAA Tournament
Radford ML for 3 units at -260. Defense wins championships ya know. Radford has a top 20 defense nationally by my metrics and points allowed. Radford has only two players that score in double figures, but they have players like Donald Hicks and Caleb Tanner that can get hot from 3. Good defense and the ability to get hot from 3 means they win this game, and may even give Villanova a scare.

Knights ML at -115 for 3 units. Fleury is going for his 400th win. Knights are 3-1 on this road trip already that concludes here against the Flyers. Fleury allowed 3 goals on only 17 shots in the first meeting between these two teams, which the Flyers won. So I expect him to want to avenge that lost.
Kings -1.5 at +115 for 3 units. Canucks have a lot of injuries. Kings have the 2nd best penalty kill rate in the league. The Canucks did not score yesterday and now face a better defense. I expect a 2 or 3 goal win for the Kings here.

Manchester City -1.5 for 2 units at -120. Manchester City usually wins big after they have lost their last game. They lost their last game to Basel 2-1 but still moved on in the Champions League. Man City have not won a Monday game this year. I think that changes here. Manchester City have a chance to have one of the best premier league season ever, and I do not think they slip up here. Stoke have only scored 3 goals in their last 4 home games. City has won every meeting between by two goals or more since 2013. This 2018 Manchester City team is better than all those teams too. City has not completed a league double over Stoke since their were both in lower leagues decades ago. Take the best team in the league.

Rutgers +15 for 4 units at -110. Rutgers lost by 2 the last time they played. Purdue has had some ugly games lately like against Wisconsin on Frank Kaminsky night. Corey Sanders is one of my favorite players in college basketball because of his youtube videos with Dwayne Bacon. Sanders went off against Indiana. It is March, star players know they have to carry their team at this point in the season. Purdue knows they can get upset in this game. The fact that two of my books do not offer a money line on Rutgers makes this an even stronger play. Also, Rutgers is essentially a home team in this tournament.
Penn State +4 for 2 units at -110. Should be a close tournament game so I am taking the points. Penn State beat Ohio State twice this year and the most recent game was a blowout. Ohio State does not matchup well with Penn State.
Michigan ML for 2 units at -190. Michigan won an overtime game last night against Iowa. Nebraska dominated their game against Michigan earlier in the year. Michigan will not get blown out like that again. Michigan has a slightly better offense and defense. The only thing that worries me is that Nebraska needs this win to cement a tourney bid, but Michigan is not going to lay down for them. Best of luck.

Hurricanes ML for 2 units at -125. Canes just beat the red hot Flyers. Canes need a win to get into the last playoff spot. Backup goalies will most likely play this game, which gives the Hurricanes the advantage in my opinion.
Canadiens ML for 2 units at +103. Public fade as the public is on the Islanders. Islanders just do not have a defense so it is always hard to bet on them. Carey Price is out for the Canadiens, but I still like there chances in this one.
Finland – Sm Liiga
Karpat +0 for 4 units at +113. Best team in the league at plus money. Not going to overthink this one.
Ilves +1 for 4 units at -140. Ilves is one of the hottest teams in the league over the past few weeks and these are great odds. Ilves has 4 of the top 20 point scorers in the league, while Tappara has none in the top 20.
TPS JYP over 5 for 2 units at -112. Over hit in every meeting in 2017 and the only meeting so far this year between these two. The last 3 games went over for both of these teams. These are two of the best teams in the league and are 2nd and 3rd in goals scored in the league. Thought this over would be at 5.5 or 6 so I am taking the value.

Arsenal team total over 1 for 2 units at -120. Arsenal should be able to score against Manchester City once in back 2 back matches right? I do not think Arsenal will win this game, but they should be able to get a goal and maybe secure Wenger’s job. This is a weird home game as it will be below freezing and the stadium most likely will not be full.
Real Betis ML for 2 units at +155.
Real Betis – Real Sociedad Draw for 2 units at +245. Betis has only lost to Barcelona and Real Madrid at home this calendar year. Leon is starting up top for Real Betis and he scored against Real Madrid his last time out. I just like this spot for Betis. They also are in better form by my estimations.

Chloe Kim and the Russian hockey team won me some units at these Pyeongchang Olympics. Chloe Kim is the present and the future of snowboarding. That gold medal hockey game was amazing between Russia and Germany. Yannic Seidenberg of the German team shot the puck when they were on the power play with only a few minutes left up a goal. This shot led to Russia clearing, taking off the goalie, and securing the equalizing goal. Russia then got a power play in overtime and eventually scored the gold medal goal. Kirill Kaprizov, the youngest guy on the Russian team, scored the game winner. Pavel Datsyuk played a great tournament as captain of the Russian team and said he has achieved all his goals in hockey now. He is now a part of the Triple Gold Club, not to mention the other Stanley Cup win and the Gagarin Cup win. Quite the career.
