ACC Big 10 Challenge Continues – December 4th College Basketball Predictions – Ohio State at North Carolina

70-62-2 on NCAAB last season up 8.95 units

17-15-1 this season up 13.09 units

Maryland/Oklahoma State/Penn State Parlay risking 6 units to win 3.58 units.

Marquette -19.5 at -110 for 2.2 units. Markus Howard. Line was 21. I’ll take the point and half.

North Carolina -157 for 2 units. Ohio State have looked great this season, but Cole Anthony is a walking bucket. BRob being back for UNC helps their defense. UNC’s big men have been improving this season, especially the freshman Bacot. I expect North Carolina to get more easy baskets and win the game. Ohio State’s first game on the road as well.

Virginia +121 for 2 units. UVA is one of the few teams that can guard Matt Haarms. VCU struggled against the big man, UVA will do better. Florida State had 16 steals against Purdue. Got to take Virginia’s defense at plus money here.

South Carolina -125 for 2 units. I have predicted every South Carolina basketball game correctly this season, including their loss to Boston U and UNI. I like them to win two in a row here on the road. Maik Kotsar and AJ Lawson looked good against GW.

Morehead State -305 for 2 units. IUPUI has only 2 wins on the season. Morehead State have lost 4 in a row, but are favored in this one for a reason.

NBA is Rigged

This dunk did not count. The refs did not review it. The Rockets lost in double-overtime. Some people think James Harden is basketball aids, but this is clearly a terrible call by the refs. Yes, I am bitter because I went from having a positive 5 unit NBA day to a negative 10 unit NBA day because of this call. I am done with the NBA for a while. Bowl Games, NFL games, Soccer, and other such sports will help console me.

NBA December 3rd Predictions – Chalk Talk

61-53-2 on NBA in 2017/18 up 9.28 units

30-28-2 on NBA in 2018/19 up 4.16 units

7-7-1 on NBA in 2019/20 down 3.91 units

Mavericks/Rockets/Clippers Parlay risking 6 units to win 8.43 units. All 3 of these teams are more favored than they were when the line opened. No reverse line movement in any of them. Luka, Harden, and Kawhi are all playing well. Carmelo got Western Conference player of the week, but the Blazers won’t beat the Clippers. Harden dropped like 45 a game on over 70% TS last week and didn’t win the relatively meaningless player of the week award.

Rockets -6 at -110 for 4 units. You can bet against Harden. I am not. The Pistons smacked the Spurs last time out. Rockets > Pistons. San Antonio’s problem in that Pistons game? Allowing 15 3s. The Rockets excel in shooting 3s. Ben McLemore is playing better. Clint Capela and Danuel House should be back for this one. Not going to overthink this one. The line has moved from -2 to -6.5 as of now.

College Basketball December 3rd – ACC/Big 10 Challenge – Michigan is Ranked

70-62-2 on NCAAB last season up 8.95 units

14-14-1 this season up 2.92 units

Michigan went from unranked to the the #4 team in the country. The Biggest jump since Kansas in 1989. Kansas beat Kentucky 150-95, among other things, to jump that high. Roy Williams likes to score. Safe to say the over hit in that one. Reddit user Homebrewingislife recalled this, Pitino was out of timeouts and Roy offered to call one for him. Pitino flipped Roy the bird and Roy promptly benched the walk-ons and re-inserted the starters and told them to run up the score. Gotta love it.

Short write-ups today. Sorry.

St Johns -20.5 for 2 units. St Johns is too good.

William & Mary +115 for 4 units. William & Mary’s height will cause problems for ODU.

Louisville -255 for 4 units. Michigan can take the 1 ranking with a win, but I think they lose.

Dook +6.5 at -110 for 4 units. Give me the points. I expect this game to be close.

Never Change Dwight Howard

Oh, you wanted a MNF play? I got something even better..

Dwight sent a cameo from the toilet today. It is a nice sweet message. A cameo from Dwight is $250. He is getting paid to sit on the throne. Snoop Dogg’s cameos will cost around $750. Mr. Howard has 5 kids with 5 different women. If he does these cameo things about 10 times, he can get them all a $250 gift. Dwight is just being fiscally responsible.

College Basketball November 29th – Emerald Coast Classic – Purdue VCU Prediction

70-62-2 on NCAAB last season up 8.95 units

13-14-1 this season up 0.17 units

Purdue -2.5 at -110 for 3 units. #EmotinalHedgeAlert VCU doesn’t have the ability to guard a true 7-footer like Matt Haarms. I say this as a VCU grad that has been to 3 games this year. This VCU team is great and could make a deep tournament run, but I think they lose in their second stiff test of the season (beating LSU was the first one). Some of Marcus Evans, De’Riante Jenkins, Vann, Crowfield, and Hyland could get hot from deep. Haarms could get in foul trouble, but on a neutral floor I like going with the team that has the better post presence. Also, Purdue know they need a marquee win after losing to Texas and Marquette already. I like Santos-Silva a lot, VCU’s main big man, but I think he will struggle today. As a VCU fan, I hope he proves me wrong, but as a gambler..

Thanksgiving Day Sports Recap – Egg Bowl/Piss Game, NFL, Europa League, and More

Ole Miss had a 4th and 24 or more on their side of the field down a touchdown with 50 seconds left. A 57 yard pass to Braylon Sanders and Ole Miss is back in business. Ole Miss got a short TD later and then Elijah Moore pissed in the EndZone like a dog. Ole Miss then missed the long extra point. Pissed Away the game.

What a start to rivalry week. That Mississippi State game got me hype for the next few days. I love this time of year. I will be traveling a lot over the next two weeks, so sorry if my posts are not as frequent. Thanks you to my readers. To the the trolls and haters, sorry I went 6-0 yesterday 🙂

Cole Beasley went off and hit all 3 of my prop bets. Revenge games are a thing. I try to stay away from player prop over because it has been proven that they are a little high on average. I liked that spot though. The Bills got down early against the Cowboys, but then shit-pumped them 26-15. Jason Garrrrrrreally bad coach still has a job somehow. Hey Jerry Jones, if you need a new puppet to coach your team, I am here for you.

The Bears beat the Lions in what was an incredibly average game. Mitch looked average. I bet the Bears and never felt good about it till it was over. Blough was actually pretty good. I though Matt Patricia was a defensive specialist? Oh no? That was Belichick. Word. The Saints beat the Julio Jones-less Falcons. Onside kicks galore in that game. Have to admit, I watched more of the Ole Miss Piss game than the Saints game… because as a Panthers fan, I hate both those teams.. but the Stiff arm on Matt Ryan was mad sexy. The North Carolina native Shy Tuttle is a grown man.

Manchester United and Arsenal lost their Europa League matches today. United have already qualified though.

Oh, and this goal was scored. Pink balls are cool. Lot better than the blue ones.

Gonzaga beat an undefeated Oregon team in college basketball today. North Carolina lost to an undefeated Michigan team today. UNC opened up the second half flat as Vincent Kompany’s forhead. Shoutout to Marquette for covering the game and second half spread.

Thanksgiving College Basketball

70-62-2 on NCAAB last season up 8.95 units

12-14-1 this season down 4.33 units

Marquette -4 at -110 for 5 units. Davidson return some key players from last year’s team, but they lack the size and defense to stop Marquette. Brendan Bailey finally broke out of his cold-slump for Marquette against Robert Morris. Markus Howard is a great guard for the Golden Eagles. Jon Axel Gudmundsson and Kellan Grady are great guards for Davidson, but I expect Marquette’s advantage on defense to be the difference.

Thanksgiving Week Parlays

3-8-1 on weekend parlay up 5.66 units

My parlay last weekend made it to Sunday, so hedging out was a real possibility. The Falcons and Browns were the Sunday plays. Falcons blew it. I am counting it as a push because hedging out should have happened to some winnings.

All the colleges are football plays. Hard to get lines that you can put into parlays with college basketball days in advance with all the tournaments going on.

Cant Win Parlay:

Bears/Jimmy Robertson (Snooker)/Saints/Buffalo -29/Boise State/App State/Real Madrid/Manchester City/Leipzig/Liverpool/Indiana/Wake Forest/Juventus/Aston Villa +1/Panthers/Eagles/Chiefs

Risking 2 units to win 639.39 units.

Cant Lose Parlay:

Manchester United and Sevilla in Europa League/Bears/Iowa/Boise State/Manchester City/Liverpool/Tottenham/Oklahoma/Panthers/Eagles/Chiefs

Risking 2 units to win 63.86 units.

Duke Lost!! College Basketball November 27th Predictions – Thanksgiving Tournaments in Full Swing

70-62-2 on NCAAB last season up 8.95 units

12-14-1 this season down 4.33 units

Dook lost to Stephen F. Austin in overtime. Love it.

North Carolina -9 at -115 for 3 units. UNC slipped up this time last year, getting smacked by Michigan. This team knows this. UNC won’t want to lose the day after their arch-rival. Roy knows how to get his teams ready for these type of tournaments. Alabama has lost to Penn and Rhode Island this season. They gave up over 80 points in both those games. The over/under for this game is set at a silly high 155 points. Alabama plays at just as fast a pace as UNC does this season. UNC should get 80 points at least. UNC has not covered in their last 3 games, that changes today. Cole Anthony is going to be the best player on the court. North Carolina’s defense, especially with the Robinson back in the lineup, and Cole Anthony/Armando Bacot’s scoring get UNC their first cover since their opener.

Maine/Virginia over 106 at -105 for 3 units. Alright. This is the lowest under/over by 20 points today. Overs are 1-5 for UVA this year.. so why take the over? The one over that won was at 109.5 against Vermont. Vermont is close to Maine. This number is so damn low the final score could be 63-44 and it would hit. I ain’t scared. Are you?

Seton Hall +1.5 at -110 for 2 units. Seton Hall has smacked everyone by 17 or more, except for their loss to Michigan State. Oregon hasn’t played a game outside of Oregon until now. Payton Pritchard is fun to watch for Oregon, Bill Walton has called him a midget before. Myles Powell will be the best big man on the floor. He is averaging over 22 points a game for Seton Hall. I like taking the team that has a strong inside scorer in these “coin-flip neutral floor” games.
