Hoffenheim at -152 for 2 units. Hoffenheim and Augsburg are not the German Giants I was referring to in the title, but Hoffenheim are on the longest win streak in the Bundesliga right now. The youngster Reiss Nelson has been scoring pretty goals for Hoffenheim of late. Augsburg haven’t looked convincing and Hoffenheim came back down a man and two goals to tie a good Lyon team midweek. That should give them enough confidence to win here.

Leicester City -1 at -121 for 3 units. Burnley have lost 3 in a row, all by 2 goals or more. Leicester have to win these home games if they want to qualify for Europe.

Tottenham at -121 for 3 units. I get Crystal Palace have talent, but Tottenham should be more heavily favored in this one. Palace have 8 goals in 11 league games this season. Tottenham have only lost 2 of their last 12 matches and those loses were to Barcelona and Manchester City. Gap in class here.

Atletico Madrid at -208 for 6 units. Atletico have only given up 6 goals in 11 games this La Liga season. Bilbao have not won a game since September 6th. It will not be easy for them to score in this one. Inaki Williams has shown some class for Bilbao lately, but Griezmann and company will be too much for the Basque team.

Dortmund/Munich Draw at +265 for 2 units. Dortmund are only 4 points ahead of Bayern in the table, but have been playing a lot better than the League Champions. Bayern are having their worst start to a season in 7 years… and are in 3rd place in the league. Bayern won 6-0 last time these two met. Bayern will get up for this one and if they were at home, I would bet Bayern. Bayern has looked better this past week, but I still think Dortmund is the better team. I could see Dortmund controlling the first 20 minutes and going up early, just for Lewandowski to tie the game against his former club. Dortmund are hotter, but Bayern have the historical edge and arguably more talent. Cheering for a lot of goals and a draw in this one. I love Der Klassiker.

Went 0-3 yesterday. Suarez and Barcelona had plenty of chances to win secure the win, but didn’t. Dortmund got contained by Diego Simeone’s Atletico squad and Liverpool got upset. Back at it today.

Real Madrid at -320 for 3 units. Santiago Solari will want to win his first Champions League match as interim Real Madrid manager. The squad looked better over the weekend after the coaching change and I expect that to continue. Vinicius Junior could get some more run here as the Brazilian teen scored last time out.

Manchester City -2.5 at -110 for 3 units. Shakhtar Donetsk have never won a match in England. City have won 9 of their last 10 matches. Manchester City have had 8 clean sheets in their last 10 matches while scoring 3 goals a game. I see this game ending 4-1 for Manchester City. Both Silva’s should make an impact today and Aguero will find the space behind Shakhtar’s loose defense. Shakhtar lost 3-0 at home to City and now they have to travel to England.

Home Goals -5.5 at -120 for 3 units. Roma and Real Madrid are the only away favorites today. Bayern and Manchester City are both home and the biggest favorites today. Lyon-Hoffenheim and Benfica-Ajax are the crucial parts of this bet. If one of Benfica or Lyon wins, this bet will win.

Juventus at -165 for 1 unit. Manchester United don’t have enough offensive cohesion to break Juve’s backline. Ronaldo and Dybala get us the win here.

Roma at -106 for 1 unit. Moscow only have 1 win in their last 6 matches, but Roma’s struggles on the road have to be accounted for. Roma won the last meeting 3-0 and Dzeko was phenomenal in that game. Roma is the more talented team, so I will take them at this value.

Went 3-1 over the weekend thanks to Tottenham, Dortmund, and Leicester City all winning at plus money. The third best tournament in all of sports continues today (March Madness and World Cup are my “bests”). There is money to be made today.

Dortmund +0.5 at -110 for 4 units. Dortmund won the meeting between these two two weeks ago 4-0. Dortmund scores while Atletico Madrid excels at defense. These matches are fun to watch because of the differing play styles deployed by the managers. Atletico did not look all that great in tying Leganes over the weekend. Dortmund is in too good of form to pass up this value on a win or draw. Also, Marco Reus has scored or had an assist in his last 4 road games.

Liverpool -2 at -103 for 3 units. Liverpool have to win this game as they are only two points clear of not making it pass this group stage. They can make that 4 points today with a win and Napoli/PSG draw. Salah scored a brace last time Liverpool faced FK Crvena zvezda. Liverpool have not scored more than two goals in an away game this season. I think they get up by 2 in this one and then get some chances for the third goal that wins this bet. Let’s hope they capitalize on those chances.

Barcelona at +117 for 2 units. Barcelona can secure the group with a win today. Inter won both their matches handily since losing to Barcelona 2-0. Icardi was bottled up by Barcelona in their last meeting and that will be the key to winning the game again. Icardi is 6th in Serie A in goals. The Nerazzurri have a solid chance in this one, but I will take Barca at plus money. Philippe Countinho going against one his old clubs here and he is in fine form.
