Lazio ML for 5 units. Lazio travel well and have not lost in 9 of their last 10 on the road. They also do well against relegation candidates having won all their matches against these type of opponents on the road. Spal played well in a 0-0 draw last time out against Lazio, but do not look for them to be able to contain Lazio’s second highest scoring offense in Italy for 180 minutes on the season.
Leicester City ML for 4 units. Vardy vs his former club. Fleetwood town have lost their last 3 home games vs weaker competition.
Leicester City Fleetwood Town over 2.5 for 2 units. Leicester City has been hitting overs at a 70% clip over their last 10 and Fleetwood has one of the worst defenses in League one. These odds seems a little too generous, which scares me. It does not scare me enough to go against the number though. If Leicester does not play Mahrez, Vardy, or Okazaki.. stay away. If two or more of them play, punch it in. This goes for the money line as well.
Eibar +0.5 for 3 units. Eibar have had a long layoff, but they still have the best form in La Liga over their past 5 games. Yes better then the defending champs. Palmas did play mid week, and looked good in doing so. I think Eibar just has more firepower. This will be an entertaining game. Eibar are actually the underdog even though they are facing a relegation candidate. Eibar also does not travel well. All these things give us better odds for the better team. Take the better odds.
Huddersfield Town +0 for 3 units. Bolton is missing four midfielders.. FOUR. This will be huge, I know Huddersfield does not travel well and Bolton has been in good form. I know Huddersfield may be more concerned with staying the the Premier League than they are with this cup, but I just think they will dominate the midfield. I could see this game being close, then Huddersfield pulling away with strong subs in the second half. Look for former Monaco defender Kongolo to rotate in the starting lineup for Huddersfield.
Chelsea ML for 2 units. Chelsea will most likely field a weak team for their standards, but I still think they pull out a win. They should be able to contain the limited Norwich attack. I like betting Chelsea in these spots because they usually field a young lineup. These young players will want to prove that they should start week in and week out. Hungry Chelsea players equals a win.
